Julie Parr currently serves as the Vice President of Development at NPR since May 2023. Prior to this position, Julie held significant roles in various organizations, including Senior Director of Development at Yale University School of Medicine from August 2015 to October 2022 and Associate Vice President at Quinnipiac University from July 2012 to June 2015. Additionally, Julie has held executive positions such as Chief Development Officer at Pennsylvania Hospital from December 2004 to July 2009 and Executive Director at Prevention Point Philadelphia from June 1995 to August 1999. Academic credentials include a Master of Social Work in Social and Economic Policy from the University of Pennsylvania and a BA from Penn State - Main Campus. Julie has also contributed to the community as a Board Member for Artspace New Haven and served as an Outreach Social Worker for S.C.A.N.
