Kai McNamee is an experienced media professional currently serving as an Assistant Producer at NPR since May 2022, with prior roles including Production Assistant and News Assistant for the program All Things Considered. Previously, Kai interned at the Financial Times, where an impactful audience survey led to a published feature, and also contributed to social media engagement. As Multimedia Chair for The Harvard Crimson, Kai managed a large team of photojournalists, enhancing multimedia production through innovative frameworks and mentorship. Additional internships included roles at Mirror Media Group, Resolution Economics, and various government-related organizations, where research and content creation were key responsibilities. Kai earned a degree from Harvard University, graduating in 2021.
