Lori Lizarraga is a seasoned media professional with experience in public broadcasting and journalism. Currently serving as the Host of "Code Switch" at NPR since September 2022, Lori previously worked as a News Reporter at KUSA-TV, 9NEWS from March 2019 to March 2021, and as a News Anchor at KGET-TV 17 from November 2016 to January 2019. Prior experience includes an Education Volunteer role at Friends of Santa Maria Orphanage, where responsibilities included teaching English and managing donations. Lori also gained valuable skills as a Broadcast Intern at KTVT | CBS DFW and as a Brand Management Intern at The Richards Group. Additionally, Lori hosted and produced content for the "Happenings on the Hilltop" segment at SMU-TV while pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Business Journalism & Communications and an Associate's degree in Journalism from Southern Methodist University, completing studies in 2015.
