Natalie Escobar is an accomplished journalist with extensive experience in digital media and editing. Currently serving as a PM news editor at NPR since February 2020, Natalie oversees digital coverage for the Code Switch blog and leads special projects. Previously, Natalie worked at The Atlantic as an assistant editor and editorial fellow, contributing to audience engagement and original storytelling focused on education and family life, particularly around LGBTQ and Latino issues. Additional experience includes roles at ProPublica as an emerging reporter and internships at Smithsonian Magazine, The Bump, and Chicago Public Media. Natalie holds a degree from Northwestern University and has a strong background in managing editorial projects, social media strategy, and collaborative storytelling.
