Veralyn Williams

Veralyn Williams is an experienced media professional currently serving as the Executive Producer at NPR since June 2022, overseeing the show "The United States of Anxiety." Prior to this role, Veralyn held positions including Senior Editor at LWC Studios and Senior Producer at WNYC Radio, where responsibilities included managing a content-rich show and producing youth journalism programs. Other notable roles include staff producer at Slate Magazine, where Veralyn launched the show "REPRESENT," and Managing Editor at Brooklyn Deep, focusing on investigative journalism in Central Brooklyn. Veralyn's background encompasses various media functions, including reporting and editing for Bedsider.org and hosting on WBAI Radio.
