Motior Rahman

Motior Rahman is an Independent Director at NRB Bank. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Branch at NRB Bank Limited from January 2014 to July 2022. In this role, they were responsible for smooth branch operation, leading the team to achieve branch financial target allocated by Retail, SME & Finance department, allocating resource by putting budget on the priority, acting as a BAMLCO, and strictly maintaining sound governance, AML and internal control system. Motior was also responsible for effective portfolio management, managing staff and enhancing their productivity, playing an effective role as a Dynamic Leader to enhance the image of the Bank, managing all stakeholders and maintaining good relationship with them, scrutinizing credit proposals before recommending to CRM, and supervising directly CSM & RM for Branch Service standard and Business.

During their time at NRB Bank Limited, Motior Rahman achieved several notable accomplishments. Motior was appointed as a Head of Branch in January 2021 and successfully earned “Excellence Performance” rating consecutively in last 5 years (2015-2019). Motior was promoted as the Principal Officer in 2019 and rewarded for Deposit Campaign in 2018. In addition, they were awarded “2nd Runner Up” for Essay Writing Competition in 2018 and promoted as a “Senior Officer” in 2017. Additionally, they achieved ‘Best Branch Audit Rating’ in the year 2020 among all branches.

Motior Rahman has a Master of Business Administration - MBA in Accounting & Information System from Rajshahi University, Bangladesh. Motior also has a Bachelor of Business Administration - BBA in Accounting & Information System from the same school.

Motior has various certifications from NRB Bank Limited in areas such as Day to Day Leadership, ICRRS, ICT Risk Management, Cyber Security and Cyber Threat in Banks, Team Building & Ethics in Banking, Trade Base Money Laundering, Anti-Money Laundering Risk Management, Credit Risk Management, How to Deal with Audit, Work Order Finance.

Motior also has certification from BIBM in Foundation Training Course and from Eastern Bank Limited in Foundation Program on Banking.
