Marko Ojapalo is a seasoned finance professional with a Master's degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Jyväskylä, obtained in 2018. Currently serving as a Business Controller at NRC Group Finland since June 2020, Marko has expertise in financial analysis and internal control assessment. Previously, Marko held positions at KPMG Finland as a Senior Associate in Audit & Assurance, where responsibilities included evaluating financial data and compliance practices. In earlier roles, Marko gained experience in customer service and financial advisory positions at Nordea and LähiTapiola, as well as board membership and project coordination with Pörssi. Marko’s career began in coaching with the Finnish Ice Hockey Association, which fostered crucial leadership skills.
