Tim O'Brien

Tim O'Brien has a diverse work experience in various educational institutions and organizations. Tim started their career in 2016 as a Student Learning Facilitator at GateWay Community College, where they assisted students in learning math and science. Tim also worked as a Substitute Teacher in Pocatello School District 25 in 2017.

In the same year, O'Brien served as a Physics Teacher at St. Ignatius College Preparatory, teaching a six-week summer class covering a full year of high school physics. Tim also worked as an Instructor/Teaching Assistant at Johns Hopkins Center For Talented Youth (CTY), instructing gifted students in Introduction to Astronomy.

Following these roles, O'Brien became a Science Teacher at Kuna High School, where they taught Physical Science and High School to Life for freshmen and seniors, respectively. Tim then joined Brilliant.org, first as an Image Creator/Content Editor and later as a Quantitative Animator.

Tim O'Brien's education history consists of a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Physics from the University of Notre Dame, which they obtained from 2009 to 2013. Tim then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Physics at UC San Diego from 2014 to 2016.
