Eric Feng is the current Managing Director of Analysis at NRE Capital Partners. Prior to this, they were the Head of Commerce Incubations at Facebook from January 2019 to June 2021. In this role, they built and launched Facebook Live Shopping. Prior to Facebook, Feng co-founded Packagd, an ecommerce platform to make videos shoppable, which was acquired in 2019. From January 2016 to December 2019, they served as the company's Co-Founder and CEO.
Before Packagd, Feng was the CTO of Flipboard Inc. from January 2013 to December 2015. In this role, they ran a 70-person engineering team in Palo Alto, Beijing, and Vancouver. Eric also led strategic partnerships with Samsung and Asia product efforts. In addition, Feng had corporate development responsibilities including investor relations, Series C financing, and the acquisition of Zite.
Prior to Flipboard, Feng served as the Co-Founder and CEO of Erly from January 2011 to December 2012. Eric then went on to become a General Partner at Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers from January 2015 to December 2019. From January 2010 to December 2011, they served as a Partner at Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers.
