Jeff Groenewold

Jeff Groenewold is a seasoned professional in the energy sector with extensive experience in energy services and resource management. Holding the position of Senior Manager for Energy Services at NRECA since April 2025, Jeff previously served as a Distributed Energy Resources Specialist at Rayburn Electric Cooperative from October 2022 to April 2025, and as a System Planning Analyst at South Plains Electric Cooperative from August 2015 to October 2022. Jeff's educational background includes a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Electric Utility Management from New Mexico State University, a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Texas Tech University, and a Graduate Certificate in Public Utility Regulation and Economics from New Mexico State University, along with overseas study at John Cabot University.
