Mike Burke

Sr. Manager, Meetings & Events at NRECA

Mike Burke, CMP, CEM, CMM, DES, has extensive experience in meeting and event planning, currently serving as the Sr. Manager of Meetings & Events at NRECA since September 2007, where responsibilities include planning and executing major conferences and events. Prior roles include Meeting & Events Manager at NRECA, where strategic leadership was provided to a team of planners, and Meetings Manager at the National Recreation and Park Association, overseeing events with 75 to 600 attendees. Mike also held positions at the Food Marketing Institute, managing large conventions and meetings for up to 35,000 individuals, and began the career as a Meeting Planner at UCG, coordinating numerous meetings annually. Mike holds a degree from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
