Biju Vaderiyattil

Biju Vaderiyattil is a security management professional with over 20 years of experience in cyber security, currently serving as the Head of Cyber Security Operations at NRG Energy since September 2011. Biju has a proven track record in managing security operations, ensuring compliance, security engineering, and security administration. Prior to NRG Energy, Biju held the position of Lead IT Compliance & Security Specialist at Paul Scherer & Co, where consulting for security and compliance needs was a primary focus. Earlier experience includes working as a Security Engineer at JPMorgan Chase and as an Oracle Admin at CMC LTD. Educational qualifications include a CISSP certification from ISC2 and ongoing training at the SANS Technology Institute in leadership and cloud security. Biju also holds a degree in Accounting and Economics from the University of Mumbai.
