Bob Kokstein

Bob Kokstein serves as Sr. Manager of Engineering Services at NRG Energy Inc., where responsibilities include enhancing reliability and thermal performance at generating facilities and leading the development of a gas pipeline safety program. Previously, Bob held the position of General Manager at El Paso, overseeing the engineering, construction, and operation of a gas-fired combined cycle electric plant. At GPU, Bob accumulated extensive experience in various roles, culminating in the position of Director of Operations at GPU International, where oversight of generating facilities across the US and Canada was a key responsibility. Bob holds an MBA in General Business from Lehigh University College of Business and a BS in Marine Biology and Biological Oceanography from the United States Naval Academy.
