Greg Newman is an experienced environmental management professional with a robust career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the Environmental Manager at NRG Energy since October 2017, Greg has also held the position of Regional Environmental Manager. Prior experience includes roles as an Environmental Consultant for NRG Energy at Icon Information Consultants and as Director of Environmental Services at both Axip Energy Services, LP, and Valerus. Greg's career commenced as a Senior Air Quality Engineer at Reliant Energy and progressed through various engineering roles, including Principal Environmental Engineer at El Paso and Air Quality Engineer at Woodward Clyde. Greg holds a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Science in Civil/Environmental Engineering from the University of Houston.
