Joe Holtman

Joe Holtman is an accomplished executive in the energy sector with extensive experience in power and natural gas trading. Currently serving as VP-Trading and Managing Director at NRG Energy since October 2011, Joe oversees the supply and hedging of energy for retail brands in northeastern markets. Previously held leadership roles include Managing Director at Energy Plus Company, where Joe developed strategies for energy purchases, and Vice President at Liberty Power, managing energy supply across 16 states. Joe's career also includes significant positions at Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Mirant, Con Edison, and Orange and Rockland Utilities, showcasing expertise in contract management, market analysis, and regulatory affairs. Joe holds an MBA in Financial Management from Iona University and a BA in Physics from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh.
