Kelsey Richardson

Kelsey Richardson is a Senior Energy Strategist at NRG Energy, a position held since November 2021, with previous experience at Direct Energy Business from June 2011 to November 2021, where Kelsey held roles as Strategic Sales Originator and Senior Energy Advisor, specializing in the Midwestern electric and gas market and providing service to high-profile customers. Earlier in Kelsey’s career, a role as Demand Response Analyst involved managing customer enrollment for PJM Interconnection's demand response programs and analyzing event settlements. Kelsey also gained experience as an Economic Affairs Intern at the U.S. Department of State, creating economic reports and attending conferences related to energy security. Currently pursuing an MBA at the University of Pittsburgh, Kelsey earned a B.S. in Energy, Business, and Finance from Penn State University.
