Michael Mahnken

Michael Mahnken has extensive experience in operations management and analysis, currently serving as General Manager for the South Region at NRG Energy since January 2007. Michael's previous roles at NRG Energy include Senior Manager of Operations Analysis and Business Manager, where responsibilities encompassed project economic analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and business process improvement. Michael also held positions as Business/Storeroom Supervisor and Storekeeper/Clerk, focusing on inventory management and purchasing. Prior to NRG Energy, Michael was a Route Manager at Central Transport, overseeing LTL operations, and gained valuable experience at UPS in outbound operations. Michael holds an MBA and a BS in Business Administration from the State University of New York at Oswego.
