Richard Lin

Richard Lin currently serves as a Sustainable Solutions & Innovation Analyst at NRG Energy since July 2023. Previously, Richard gained valuable research experience as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Lab for Synthetic Macromolecular Assemblies under Dr. George Lu at Rice University from August 2019 to May 2023, where experiments involving gas vesicles in E. coli bacteria were conducted. In the summer of 2022, Richard interned at Publicis Sapient as a Product Management Intern, collaborating with software engineers on an optimization tool user interface for oil and natural gas modeling and engaging with Chevron clients to gather product requirements. Richard holds a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering and a Minor in Computational and Applied Mathematics from Rice University, completing studies in May 2023.
