Sharon Towner

Sharon Towner serves as Senior Counsel at NRG Energy since October 2021, following a position as a Legal Consultant from April 2020 to October 2021. Prior roles include Compliance Counsel at Parker Drilling Company from March 2013 to April 2020, where expertise encompassed sanctions, trade controls, FCPA, anti-corruption, investigations, and due diligence. Sharon also worked as an Attorney at Donovan and Watkins from August 2010 to March 2013 and held a legal position at First Data Corporation from July 2000 to March 2010, focusing on regulatory compliance and litigation.
