Todd Lawton

Todd Lawton has extensive experience in project management and engineering within the energy sector. Currently serving as a Project Manager and Senior Engineer at NRG Energy since December 2012, Todd manages medium-sized projects ranging from $5 to $40 million. Prior experience includes roles at GenOn Energy as a Project Manager overseeing small to medium projects valued at $300K to $10 million, and at US Generating Company as a Fuels Manager, where Todd negotiated $75 million in supply contracts for the Scrubgrass Power Project. Earlier in Todd's career, positions at Inland Steel Company involved significant contributions to coal preparation and environmental compliance initiatives, as well as project engineering. Todd holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mining Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and has additional education from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.
