Zheng Gan

Zheng Gan, also known as Jon, currently serves as a Data Science Manager at NRG Energy, where Zheng (Jon) leads a team in building machine learning models for cross-selling products and services and the virtual power plant program. Prior to their role at NRG, Zheng worked as a Principal Data Scientist at the same company, supporting various sectors across North America. Before that, Zheng (Jon) was a Senior Data Scientist at Plus Power, where Zheng (Jon) focused on AI algorithm development for auto-trading software in the wholesale electricity market. With a background in mathematics and extensive experience in machine learning modeling, Zheng has made significant contributions in the energy industry through data science and analytics.
