Matías Robador

Matías Robador is a skilled nuclear engineer currently employed at NRG PALLAS since November 2024, focusing on the High Flux Reactor (HFR). Prior to this role, Matías worked at Seaborg Technologies from June 2021 to October 2024, serving as Lead Engineer and Senior Design Engineer on the Compact Molten Salt Reactor (CMSR) project, providing technical leadership and contributing to the development of innovative floating CMSR power barges for global decarbonization. Matías has also held the position of Mechanical Design Engineer at the National Atomic Energy Commission from October 2015 to May 2021, where contributions were made to the Robotics & Automation Division for the CAREM25 Project. Additionally, Matías served as a university teaching assistant at the Balseiro Institute, supporting courses in Mechanical and Nuclear Engineering. Matías holds a Master's degree in Automation and Control Engineering from the Instituto Balseiro, an Engineer's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution, and completed a professional program in Leading Digital Transformation at MIT in 2020.
