Tomohisa Shidara

Tomohisa Shidara is an accomplished program management professional with extensive experience in leading projects for the insurance sector. Currently serving as the Program Management Office Lead at Nomura Research Institute since June 2017, Tomohisa has spearheaded legacy modernization and digital transformation initiatives for prominent Japanese P&C insurance companies, overseeing budgets in the hundreds of millions and managing teams of up to 80 members. Previous roles include EPMO member for an insurance company and various project management positions at Nomura Research Institute, where Tomohisa led significant claim system reconstruction projects and guided teams through complex system integrations. Tomohisa holds a Master’s degree in Information Science and Engineering from Tokyo Institute of Technology.
