Christian Wimmenauer

Christian Wimmenauer is an IT Project Manager for Capital Market Systems at NRW.BANK since September 2023. Previously, from January 2019 to June 2023, Christian served as a Scientist at Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf, focusing on the subcellular distribution and uptake of carbon nanoparticles, while also applying unsupervised machine learning, scientific image processing, and spatial statistics. Additionally, Christian co-supervised courses and theses at the Bachelor and Master levels. Prior roles at the same university include a Scientific Assistant from April 2015 to October 2018 and an Undergraduate Assistant. Christian obtained a PhD in Physics from the University of Düsseldorf in June 2023, a Master of Science in Medical Physics in October 2018, and a Bachelor of Science in Medical Physics in September 2016.
