Marcus Choy

Marcus Choy has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Marcus is currently the Vice President of Technology Delivery & Support at NS BlueScope since December 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Reckitt as the Head of IT for Malaysia, Singapore, and Vietnam from May 2021 until December 2022.

Before joining Reckitt, Marcus held positions at Vinda Group SEA, where they served as the Head of Digital & Technology SEA from January 2017 to May 2021. Marcus also briefly worked as the IT Manager for SEA, Taiwan, and Korea from April 2016 to December 2016.

Marcus's earlier experiences include working as the Regional IT Services Manager at SCA Hygiene (M) Sdn Bhd, where they were responsible for overseeing IT operations and managing application management, infrastructure services, and workplace operations for the South East Asia region from November 2011 to April 2016. Marcus also held the role of Business Process Assistant Manager at SCA Hygiene from January 2009 to November 2011.

Marcus'scareer began at Aim Force Sdn Bhd, where they served as the Head of eLogistic, leading a team of software developers and providing consulting services for various industries such as logistics, warehousing, retail, FMCG, and more from January 2004 to January 2009.

Marcus Choy obtained a Higher Diploma in Software Engineering from the Asia Pacific University of Technology and Innovation (APU / APIIT) from 2000 to 2003. In 2004, they pursued a Bachelor Degree in Computing at Monash University. Throughout their career, Marcus has also obtained various additional certifications, including Blockchain Basics, Customer Insights and Consumer Analytics for Organizations: Concepts, Strategic Thinking, Power BI: Dashboards for Beginners, Data Analytics for Business Professionals, Decision-Making Strategies, Digital Strategy, Creating Your IT Strategy, and ITIL Foundation Level. These certifications were obtained between 2020 and 2022 from institutions such as LinkedIn and AXELOS Global Best Practice.
