Senior Manager Technical Operations, Global Residential Water at NSF International

Mark Mapili, MPH, REHS/RS, is an experienced public health professional with a strong focus on environmental health and water safety. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Technical Operations for Global Building Water Systems at NSF International since 2007, Mark has held various significant roles within the organization, including Technical Operations Manager and Senior Project Manager in the Plastics Plumbing Program. Prior experience includes positions as Environmental Health Technical Consultant at the Virginia Department of Health and Project Manager at NSF International. Mark began their career as an Environmental Health Specialist with Macomb County Government and has contributed to research as an Aquatic Contaminants Research Assistant at NOAA and an Aquatic Toxicology Research Assistant at the University of Michigan. Mark earned a Master of Public Health degree in Environmental Health from the University of Michigan School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Michigan.
