Tae Kim

Tae Kim has over 20 years of experience in the field of Oracle database administration. Tae started their career at EDS in 1997, where they supported General Motors' global sales, service, and marketing web projects. Tae also contributed to the automation of data load processes, improving system performance and reducing timeouts. In 2007, Tae Kim joined HP and provided support for General Motors Onstar 911 database system. Tae was responsible for OnStar eNav, allowing subscribers to send destinations to their vehicle's navigation system. From 2012 to 2015, they worked at BondDesk Group LLC / Tradeweb as a Senior Oracle DBA, where they managed an advanced trading system and conducted performance tuning and troubleshooting. From 2015 to 2017, they worked at Meridian Health Plan as a Senior Oracle DBA and Data Warehouse DBA, overseeing the migration and management of the data warehouse database. Currently, they hold the position of Lead Oracle Database Administrator at NSF International.

Tae Kim holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Management Information Systems and Services from Lawrence Technological University. Additionally, Tae Kim has obtained certifications in Oracle 10g, 11g, 8 & 8i, and 9i from Oracle.
