Nsflow
Nsflow is an augmented reality platform created to improve various processes across industrial companies on the verge of digital transformation. The platform was designed for streamlining remote collaboration with experts, convenient, no-code creation of interactive work instructions, conducting hands-on training, and executing service andmaintenance procedures. It consists of top-notch software components, including a web application, mobile apps, and dedicated apps for AR glasses, enabling users to digitize knowledge management processes – collection, retention, transfer, distribution, standardization, and accessibility. In order to achieve it, the platform has two built-in modules – Digital Workflows and Remote Support. The Digital Workflows module is a no-code tool for creating digital work instructions, hands-on training, and other internal procedures. Designing own procedures is time efficient and reminds of building blocks. Once created, Workflows can be distributed to employees across the organization and executed regardless of location and timeframes. Digital instructions are easy to update and contribute to maintaining a consistent competency level, aggregating expertise, and preventing the so-called tribal knowledge in the company. The platform is hardware-agnostic and users can access Workflows using everyday mobile devices or AR glasses. The Remote Support module was created to answer challenges related to access to expert knowledge anytime on-site technicians require assistance. Field personnel gains the ability to reach out to experts via an audio-video connection using AR devices, reducing the need for traveling to the site, shortening problem resolution time, and lowering related costs. Creation of Nsflow resulted from an in-depth understanding of challenges affecting the manufacturing industry. The platform is a comprehensive tool, addressing the needs of manufacturing enterprises. Utilizing the potential of AR allows industry professionals to introduce company-wide knowledge transfer standards, improve access to information, minimize human error and its consequences, reduce downtimes, and high process costs. As a result, industrial companies can face market-wide occurrences, remaining competitive in the changing environment.
