Joe Lohrum

Joe Lohrum serves as General Counsel at NSK since March 2025, bringing extensive intellectual property expertise from previous roles at General Motors, where responsibilities included drafting and negotiating various agreements and advising on open source software compliance. Prior experience as a Registered Patent Attorney at Brooks Kushman P.C. involved drafting and prosecuting numerous patent applications as well as preparing legal opinions on patent matters. Earlier legal experience includes a summer clerkship at Baker & Daniels and an engineering role at Pratt & Whitney. Joe Lohrum holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law and a BS in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan.
