Richard McCown

Richard McCown has a diverse work experience across multiple industries. Beginning in 2007, they worked at Kiewit as an Engineer I and later progressed to roles such as Engineer II, Survey Manager, Project Engineer, Estimator, and District Engineer. In 2012, they joined Kiewit/Kobayashi, a joint venture, as a Civil Construction Manager before returning to Kiewit as a Civil Construction Manager and later a Job Superintendent. In 2014, they joined NorthStar Memorial Group and held positions including Construction Manager, General Manager, and currently serves as the Vice President of Operations for the Western Region. Additionally, since 2021, they have served as the Director for the North region and chair of the Communications Committee at the California Funeral Directors Association.

Richard McCown attended California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 2000 to 2006, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Construction Management. In August 2018, they obtained certifications as a Cemetery Broker and Cemetery Manager from the California Department of Consumer Affairs.
