Caitlin Sedlacek-Herman

Caitlin Sedlacek-Herman is an experienced educator specializing in the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community, currently serving as a DHH Teacher at NSSEO since August 2015. Prior to this role, Caitlin implemented ABA therapy as a Clinical Team Member at Autism Home Support Services, Inc. from July 2015 to September 2023. Caitlin's background includes teaching at a therapeutic school for students with emotional and behavioral disorders, where responsibilities encompassed creating lesson plans, developing behavior plans, and collaborating with school administrators and clinical staff. Caitlin has also gained experience as a substitute teacher in various specialized classrooms, an assistant stage manager at Illinois State University, and a customer service representative at CompUSA. Caitlin holds a Bachelor's degree in Deaf and Hard of Hearing Education from Illinois State University and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Education/Teaching of Individuals with Vision Impairments Including Blindness, set to be completed in December 2024.
