Gilbert Ulmer

Gilbert Ulmer is an experienced Field Service Engineer currently serving as the GMEX Lead at NSSLGlobal since October 2015. In this role, Gilbert specializes in satellite service repair, commissioning, and installations, working with systems from Inmarsat, Thuraya, and Iridium, and is responsible for initiating satellite connections using the DVBS2-RCS VSAT network. Prior to NSSLGlobal, Gilbert held the position of Lead Field Engineer at GE Energy Management from October 2013 to August 2015 and worked as a Navigation and DP Engineer at Kongsberg Maritime from May 2011 to October 2013.
