Waqas Muhammad has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Waqas started their career in 2002 as a Hardware Manager at Corvit Networks, where they were responsible for computer hardware purchases, maintenance, and staff computer literacy programs. From 2003 to 2006, they worked as a Test Engineer at FORCE Technology, specializing in the development and execution of test strategies and reports for digital set top boxes. In 2006, they joined TechniSat Force Digital AS as a QC Manager, where they oversaw product releases for mass production and managed QC procedures. Waqas then worked at SnapTV from 2007 to 2016, serving as a Support & Test Engineer and later as a QC & Support Manager. Waqas was involved in partner training, global deployments, and the development and delivery of a partner program for their infotainment systems. Finally, they joined NSSLGlobal in 2016 as a QC & Support Manager. In 2019, they became the Head of QC, Support & Sales of the SnapTV Brand, a role they currently hold. In this position, they are responsible for ensuring the quality and support of the SnapTV brand while driving sales.

Waqas Muhammad began their education at Govt College Multan in 1997 and completed their secondary education in General Studies in 2000. Waqas then attended Preston University from 2000 to 2003, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Technology.

In terms of additional certifications, Waqas obtained a Diploma in Computer Hardware A+ from Corvit Networks in 1999. Waqas also received a Certification in Computer Fundamentals from the same institution in 2000. In 2008, they obtained certifications in Linux System Administration and Network & TCP/IP from Linpro AS. More recently, in 2017 and 2018, they obtained certifications in VCAS for IPTV, VMX/VCAS 4.1 for IPTV, and VMX/VCAS 4.1 Platform from Verimatrix.
