Rowena Bianchino

Rowena Bianchino is an experienced mental health professional with over three decades of expertise in counseling and psychotherapy. Currently serving as a Casual Academic Tutor in the Bachelor of Counselling degree at Southern Cross University since February 2024, Rowena has held various roles, including Senior Counsellor and Approved Counsellor for the Department of Justice NSW, where trauma-informed care is a focus. Additional experience includes serving as Clinical Director at Harbour Therapy Clinic, facilitating Forum Sentencing, and hosting educational Salons in historic settings across Italy and France. Rowena has contributed to the field through diverse roles involving adolescent counseling and has presented at the 2nd World Congress of Existential Therapy. Holding multiple advanced degrees, including a Masters of Social Work and a Master of Science in Psychotherapy Studies, Rowena Bianchino demonstrates a strong commitment to mental health and community support.
