Ashleigh Morton

Ashleigh Morton is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in policy, project management, and event coordination within the arts and education sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Policy & Project Officer at the NSW Department of Education and an Independent Consultant at Active Directions, Ashleigh has previously held roles such as Project Manager for the Implementation Science Academy at the University of Sydney and Associate Producer for Vivid Sydney at Destination NSW. With a strong background in managing large teams of volunteers for notable festivals, including the Sydney Writers' Festival and Brisbane Festival, Ashleigh's expertise encompasses recruitment, training, and event management. Ashleigh holds a Master’s Degree in Publishing from the University of Sydney and two Bachelor's Degrees in Sociology and Media and Cultural Studies from the University of Wollongong.
