Kasha Tabaka

Kasha Tabaka currently serves as the Manager of Executive Communication for the NSW Department of Education, a role assumed in December 2023. Prior experience includes a tenure as Communications and Engagement Manager at Transport for NSW, focusing on high-value transformation programs, and as a Senior Communications Advisor at the NSW Department of Planning and Environment. Kasha has also held positions such as Corporate Communications Specialist at ARTC and Senior Media Advisor for the Department of Regional NSW, where responsibilities included crisis communications and stakeholder management following the 2019/20 bushfires. Freelance work included PR consultancy for notable clients and roles in PR management at Entertainment One, Fox Networks Group, HOPSCOTCH FILMS INC, and Icon Film Distribution. Kasha holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics and Marketing from Macquarie University.
