James Li is an accomplished transport planning professional with extensive experience across various government agencies in New South Wales. Currently serving as the Manager of Transport Advisory at the NSW Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure, James is responsible for program management and provision of specialist transport planning advice for state-led rezonings. Previous roles include Team Leader Infrastructure at the Greater Cities Commission, where James focused on infrastructure development for the Six Cities Region Plan, and Principal Planning Officer at the same commission, leading initiatives to manage employment lands. James has also held significant positions at Transport for NSW and Roads and Maritime Services, providing strategic and technical guidance on transport planning, network performance analysis, and motorway operations.
