Melissa Opie is an accomplished expert in community and stakeholder consultation, currently serving as the Manager of Communications and Stakeholder Engagement at Transport for NSW since July 2018. In addition to this role, Melissa is a Senior Communications and Engagement Officer at the NSW Department of Planning and Environment. Prior experience includes positions at Newgate Communications, Sydney Water, Aurecon, Fulton Hogan, Reed Construction, SKM, and Manidis Roberts, where Melissa effectively implemented community engagement strategies, built positive stakeholder relationships, and led communications efforts on significant infrastructure projects.
