David Chaplin

David Chaplin has over 24 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on strategic ICT procurement services. David currently works as the Category Lead for Strategic ICT Procurement Services at NSW Health since November 2018. Prior to this, they worked as the Procurement Manager at the University of New South Wales from November 2013 to January 2017. David also held various managerial roles at Qantas, including Manager Strategic Procurement, Manager of Strategic Procurement - Centre of Excellence, Procurement Manager - Information Technology, and Procurement Executive - Information Technology, from 1994 to 2012.

David Chaplin attended Norwich City College of Higher Education from 1983 to 1985, where they earned a HND degree in Business and Finance. In 2008, they briefly attended MCIPS, but did not complete a degree or study in a specific field.
