David Glendinning

David Glendinning has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and organizations. David is currently serving as the Chief Clinical Information Officer at the Northern NSW Local Health District. Prior to this, they worked as a General Practitioner and Practice Owner at Goonellabah Medical Centre. David also served as a Board Member at the Northern Rivers Doctors Network, representing local GPs and Specialists in the region. In the past, they worked as an Emergency Medicine CMO at NSW Health and as the Owner/Manager of DG Consulting. David has also held positions such as Director Assistants in Medicine Program at Northern NSW Local Health District, eHealth :: eMeds Consultant at Northern NSW LHD, and Consultant at Clinical Documentation Improvement Australia. Additionally, they have worked as a General Practice Registrar at Alstonville Medical Centre and as a GP Registrar at GPSynergy.

David Glendinning completed a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from the University of Sydney between 1999 and 2003. David obtained a Diploma in Project Management from PPP Group from 2006 to 2008. In 2011 to 2014, David pursued a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree in Medicine from the University of Wollongong. David further acquired a Post Grad Dip in Railway Signalling from CQUniversity from 2005 to 2007. In 2016 to 2017, they attended the University of Sydney for a Diploma in Child Health in Medicine. Additionally, David obtained a Certificate in Emergency Medicine from the Australian College of Emergency Medicine in 2017. In 2023, they completed a certification course titled "Leading Digital Transformation in Health Care" offered by Harvard Medical School Corporate Learning.
