Jacob Roy

Jacob Roy has over 20 years of work experience in the field of information technology. Most recently, they served as the Director of Information Technology at NSW Health since February 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of Chief Digital Officer (CDO) at Western Sydney Local Health District from January 2020 to October 2020. From 2015 to 2019, Jacob worked as the Associate Director at NSW Health, and from 2012 to 2015, they worked as a Service Delivery Manager at the same organization. Jacob also has experience as an ITIL Consultant & Project Leader at HP Enterprise Services from 2011 to 2012, and as a Service Delivery Manager at CSC from 2008 to 2011. Jacob started their career as an Infrastructure Engineer at Advanced Computing Techniques from 2002 to 2004, and prior to that, they worked as a Product & Sales Manager at Messrs JACOB & WARING from 1999 to 2002. Overall, Jacob Roy has built a strong professional background in IT leadership and service delivery.

Jacob Roy completed a Master of Engineering degree in Telecommunication and Networking at the University of Wollongong from 2002 to 2003. Jacob also obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and TeleCommunication from Bharathiar University between 1994 and 1998.
