Jean-Frédéric Levesque

Jean-Frederic Levesque is an experienced health leader currently serving as the Deputy Secretary for Clinical Innovation and Research at NSW Health since February 2023. Previously, Jean-Frederic held the position of Chief Executive Officer at the NSW Agency for Clinical Innovation from June 2017 and at the Bureau of Health Information of New South Wales from April 2013 to June 2017. Jean-Frederic's expertise in health systems evaluation was further demonstrated during the tenure as Scientific Director at the Institut national de santé publique du Québec from March 2010 to April 2013 and as Deputy Commissioner for Performance Appraisal at the Commissaire à la santé et au bien-être du Québec from August 2006 to March 2010. Jean-Frederic Levesque holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Public Health and a Doctor of Medicine in Community Health and Preventive Medicine, both from Université de Montreal.
