Jamiyu Badmus

Jamiyu Badmus has a diverse range of work experience in the telecommunications industry. Jamiyu started their career in 2013 as a Contractor Engineer at Laplace Technologies Limited. From there, they worked at LM Ericsson as a Field Maintenance Engineer, specializing in 2G and 3G RAN-RBS and LTE network architecture. Jamiyu had extensive knowledge and experience with Ericsson products and software, such as Mini-Link/LCT, Putty, SIU Element Manager, and MOSHELL. Jamiyu also had expertise in site installations and alignments, transmission link troubleshooting, and electrical repair and maintenance of hybrid power systems.

In 2015, Jamiyu joined Huawei Technologies as a Transmission Engineer, where they continued their work in corrective maintenance of radio-links and E1 routing. Jamiyu also gained experience in IP configuration and routine maintenance of various equipment. In 2018, they worked at ZTE Corporation as an Integration Engineer, ensuring sites were ready for installation and supervising subcontractors.

Later in 2018, they joined Shenzhen Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. as a Transmission Engineer, focusing on the maintenance and optimization of radio links and conducting radio link surveys. Jamiyu'smost recent position was at ntel as a Network Field Operations Engineer, where they created and edited scripts, performed eNodeB upgrades, and generated daily alarm and network availability checks.

Jamiyu Badmus has demonstrated expertise in various aspects of telecommunications engineering, including network operations, field maintenance, integration, and transmission.

Jamiyu Badmus obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Federal University of Technology Akure. The degree was obtained between the years 2005 and 2010. In addition to their formal education, Jamiyu Badmus has also obtained certifications in Applied Data Science I: Scientific Computing & Python (with honors) from WorldQuant University in December 2021, and in Responsive Web Design from freeCodeCamp in August 2021.
