In 2018, Olayinka worked as an Operations Manager for Deltech International Investment Concept Limited, where they led a project team and coordinated the enrollment of over 5,000 forest reserve farmers into the state government's database development.

In 2019, Olayinka served as a Front Desk Receptionist at Lisabi Court Hotel, where they engaged with customers and provided solutions to their needs. They also worked as a Presiding Officer for the Independent National Electoral Commission, conducting polling, sorting, and counting of over 10,000 votes during the general election.

In 2020, Olayinka joined Turret Group as an Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer. In this role, they successfully improved the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system and managed a cross-functional team of 100 employees for assigned projects.

Olayinka Maku earned a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Anthropology from Obafemi Awolowo University, which they attended from 2012 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed their secondary education at Baptist Boys High School (BBHS) from 2004 to 2010, obtaining an SSCE degree.
