William Ray

Dr. Ray is a founder of NthDegree Technologies Worldwide Inc.

NthDegree conducts research into and commercializes a number of forms of printed electronics. He is also the Chief Technical Advisor of Printed Energy Pty Ltd. Printed Energy, an Nth spinoff, which conducts research in energy storage and energy acquisition.

He holds a Ph.D. in Biophysics, a Masters in Statistics and a BA in Physics and Chemistry. He is a member of TAGA, American Association for the Advancement of Science, IEEE, the Society for Information Display, the American Chemical Society and the American Institute of Physics. He is a past President of TAGA.

He is a named inventor on more than 100 patents or active applications in the areas of semiconductors, optics, opto-electrical devices, printing, energy storage, photovoltaic devices, water filtration/desalinization and, specialized film coating/patterned manufacturing systems.

Dr. Ray has over thirty years of experience in leading applied research teams in both hardware development and software development for complex systems.
