Shounak Chakraborty

Shounak Chakraborty is an accomplished academic and researcher specializing in Computer Architecture, with a focus on enhancing energy and thermal efficiency in multi-core systems, shared caches, and non-volatile memories. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Durham University and as a Visiting Research Fellow at the University of Essex, Shounak also holds a position as a Guest Researcher at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, where research explores the thermal properties of FinFET architectures. Previous roles include Computer System Architect at ZeroPoint Technologies and Assistant Professor at the Indian Institute of Information Technology Guwahati and the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati.
