Cynthia Tan is currently a PhD candidate at Deakin University, focusing on a doctoral thesis titled 'Infant learning and involvement in Singapore: A mixed methods approach.' With extensive experience at NTUC First Campus since April 2009, Cynthia serves as a Curriculum Specialist for My First Skool, emphasizing infant-toddler curriculum and instructing courses in Curriculum and Pedagogical Leadership. Previously, Cynthia developed and reviewed curriculum for The Caterpillar's Cove Child Development and Study Centre, mentored center leaders and teachers, and conducted curriculum training. As a Centre Leader, managing operations and facilitating project partnerships at multiple locations, Cynthia co-developed a second child study centre. Cynthia holds a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education and Leadership from Wheelock College-Singapore, a Higher Certificate in Infant Care from SEED Institute, and a Diploma in Early Childhood Education from Ngee Ann Polytechnic.
