Emma van Bergeijk

Emma van Bergeijk is an experienced journalist specializing in climate reporting, currently working as a Verslaggever Klimaat at NU.nl since January 2022, where the focus is on the climate crisis, energy transition, and sustainable economy. Prior to this role, Emma participated in a research journalism traineeship at the same company and served as a Marketing & Social Media medewerker at Concerto Recordstore. Emma has held various editorial positions, including freelance roles for So/magazine and DUIC, and internships at KRO-NCRV and Het Parool, covering diverse topics and local stories. Emma's educational background includes a Master of Science in International Relations and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Journalism from the University of Amsterdam and HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht, respectively.
