Jasmin Patel

Jasmin Patel has a diverse work experience across various fields. Jasmin started their career as a Pharmacy Clerk at Dayton Park Pharmacy in 2019. In 2020, they became an Emergency Medical Technician at Monmouth Junction First Aid Squad.

Jasmin then transitioned into research roles, starting as a Research Assistant at the Language Acquisition and Brain Laboratory in 2021. In 2022, they worked as a Barista at Blue Bottle Coffee and also served as a Clinical Research Assistant and Summer Research Intern at Massachusetts General Hospital.

In 2023, Jasmin joined the Shansky Lab as an Undergraduate Research Assistant, focusing on studying sex differences in mechanisms of stress and fear. Jasmin also joined the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard as a Research Assistant in the Dr. Evan Macosko Lab, where they worked on neurogenomics.

Jasmin is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Behavioral Neuroscience at Northeastern University, with an expected completion date of 2025. In addition, Jasmin obtained certification as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) from the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians in August 2021.
