Adriana Lessa

Adriana Lessa serves as the Global Head of Internal Communications at Nubank since January 2022, previously holding the position of Senior Internal Communications Manager and Deputy Head of Internal Communications at BAT from November 2008 to January 2022. Key achievements at BAT include leading the internal launch of a corporate strategy centered on ESG, digital transformation of internal communications, management of internal communications during the COVID crisis, and coordinating communications for a major acquisition. Adriana's extensive background also features roles in various media and communications organizations, including the British Council, Xpress Assessoria em Comunicação, and Sistema Globo de Rádio. Educational qualifications include a degree in Journalism from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro and an MBA in Marketing from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro.
